Our standard package for 2018 includes:
– 10 tickets for general admission at any session
– These tickets are the only way you can get in to the early hour, 5pm-6pm on Thursday, for sponsors only
– £10 of beer tokens for everyone attending the 5pm-6pm Thursday sponsors’ session
– Your name over a barrel
– Your name and details in the festival programme and linked from our website

The price for this package is £135.

If you are sponsoring as a business or company, tick YES on the form so that we can send you a receipt. This way you can claim the cost through your company accounts.

If you want to do something bigger than our standard sponsorship package; put your logo on the glasses, sponsor a bar, increase the number of people/tickets, etc. we can usually tailor something for you to fit.  Get in touch to sponsors@bentnbongs.com and we’ll work something out with you.

The Thursday 5pm-6pm Sponsors’ Session

We run the Thursday sponsors’ session to say Thank You to you, our sponsors. While we open to the general public at 6pm on Thursday, we open an hour earlier for sponsors at 5pm. This first hour is sponsors only and, well, it’s pretty cool to have the whole festival to yourself.

Plus when you arrive between 5pm and 6pm we give you a sheet of £10 worth of tokens so that your first few beers are on us.

These tokens work just like the tokens at the public sessions. You buy your beer with them. It makes your first £10 of beer absolutely free.

That’s right – if you can get all 10 people into the Sponsors’ hour the package is effectively free.  If you’re wondering what the catch is … there isn’t one!

The tokens don’t expire at 6pm so you can use them any time through Thursday night. This way you don’t need to feel like you have to drink quickly in order to get your money’s worth. You can enjoy a few beers, have a chat and a catch-up with the people you are with and generally have a chilled out time before the festival gets busier when the general public arrive at 6pm onwards.

If your tokens run out during the sponsors’ hour, fear not. We will have the token desk open selling the regular tokens. This way, if you want to try the most expensive beers early the choice is yours. You can top up your token supply any time you want, or as soon as your free ones run out. You can use your free tokens up quickly, or you can savour the taste of every mouthful and use them well into the night. The choice is yours. The only difference with the sponsors’ beer tokens is that you cannot cash them in when leaving the festival. So be sure to use them first.

I mean – what’s not to love about this? You’re the first into the festival. There’s a lovely laid-back feel. Every beer is available. There’s no rush. There’s no queue at the bars. And there are plenty of seats available over by the food. It’s beer festival heaven.

New for 2018 – The VIP Room

This is the ultimate Beer Bash VIP experience.  It’s available to small groups only and gives you exclusive access to the VIP lounge at the roller rink.

This means guaranteed seating on the sofas and comfy chairs in the roller rink’s lounge.  You can use it however you want.  Spend a bit of time catching up with friends.  Head to the bar to grab a beer.  Chill for a bit.  Bob out to listen to the band.  Pick-up something to eat.  We provide the space, how you use it is up to you.

The price for the VIP Room is £40 per person.  This includes (for each person):
– A priority entry ticket*
– £10 of beer tokens
– Your group’s exclusive use of the VIP lounge
* – The priority entry ticket gets you straight in to the festival.  It enables you to bypass any queue and is available only to our main sponsors and VIP Room guests.

For 2018 we are offering this to small groups (minimum 5 people) on a session by session basis, in that when you book it you book the VIP Room for a specific session; either Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday 12 – 5pm, or Saturday 5pm – 9pm.

Thursday night and Saturday 12 – 5pm are already booked, leaving Friday night (all night!) and Saturday 5pm – 9pm available.

If you are interested, please get in touch via sponsors@bentnbongs.com and we will take it from there.

Programme Advertising

We offer advertising space in the festival programme. Anything from a quarter page up to a full page including the back and inside covers. It’s an affordable way to reach people; most of whom are local, most of whom enjoy a few beers, and a night out with friends, and something good to eat, and a bit of entertainment.

In all honesty, advertising with us isn’t going to be like winning The Apprentice. But with around 4,000 people visiting the festival over the three days, it certainly can’t hurt.

What To Do Next

2017 – Mrs Otto Recommends

Not quite as mysterious as The Stig, and not quite as common as Cheryl Cole is Mrs Otto, the Bent and Bongs Beer Svengali.  With a love for beer beyond even Donald Trump’s love of bricklayers, Mrs Otto returns for the 2017 festival to share some personal recommendations.

For 2017 Mrs Otto, the Bent and Bongs Beer Svengali, recommends …

A single beer engine snaps into clear focus on a long bar of beer festival real ales.Real Ales

Prospect – Pickaxe (5%)
A red/brown pour with an aroma of roasted coffee/chocolate.  The taste has ripe fruits and sweet roasted malts, nuts, and coffee with a touch of vanilla on the finish.  A very quaffable porter.

Abbeydale – Moonshine (4.3%)
A great example of a Yorkshire Pale Ale.  Your taste buds will experience grapefruit and leather.  Make sure you try some.

Tiny Rebel – Juicy (4.8%)
A golden/amber colour pour.  The aroma is sweet, pineapple, and tropical fruits.  The taste is sweet and juicy with tropical fruit, pineapple and fruit salad.  A highly drinkable tropical fruit juice.

Blackjack – Dragon’s Tears (5.2%)
Pours clear gold.  Lots of Saison yeast in the nose, some citrus hops, tangerine, peach, and grapefruit.  Medium sweet flavour with rich grapefruit, peach, and pine needles.  Medium bodied with white, soft, delicate carbonation.  A tasty beer indeed.

Deva – Dual IPA (5.6%)
Hopped to hell and back.  Dual IPA is a big, brash American India Pale Ale.  Hugely hopped to give waves of powerful citrus and hop resin all backed up with a strong, complex, malt backbone.  This one will give your taste buds something to talk about!

Weird Beard – Mariana Trench (5.3%)
Pacific Northwest meets Pacific Southeast as the best of American and New Zealand hops meld together with just enough malt backbone to allow them to sing.  A riot of mango and passionfruit on the nose but balanced enough to drink by the bucketful.  Dive in and grab another glass full, but don’t get the bends!

A line of sparkling silver fonts along a beer festival bar. In the distance the dispense kit is a maze of tubes and plumbing.Draught Beers

Erdinger – Festweiße (5.7%)
A hazed amber body.  The aroma is malty and bready with light spice.  The taste is sweet malts, bananas, more fruits, mild breadiness, and light yeast.  The body has sharp carbonation feel that finishes fruity and malty with some milder sweetness and lighter spices.

Lervig – Café Sur (4%)
A limited release kettle-sourced Berliner Weisse with a late addition of fresh brewed coffee.  The flavour is reminiscent of fresh espresso with a nice acidity coupled with lightly roasted coffee flavours.  It has a soft palette which compliments itself quite nicely to the rich complexity of the coffee.

Left Hand – Milk Stout (6%)
This English style of beer, also known as Sweet Stout or Cream Stout, first appeared in London in the late 1800’s.  The early brewers touted the health benefits of the milk sugar in this beer which today relates mainly to the increased amount of calories.  Sorry – no real health benefits!  The milk sugar adds a well rounded sweetness to this dark beer and makes it an outstanding year round stout.
